Removing gear indicator, part required - Pal - 03-01-15 Hi I'm removing an old broken LED gear indicator and I want to replace to gear sensor plate from the kit with the standard one. Does anyone have one or know the part number I need? Re: Removing gear indicator, part required - darrsi - 03-01-15 https://www.yamahamotorcyclespares.co.uk/spares/modelImage.asp?modelID=9796&uID=0#Genuine Spare Parts Re: Removing gear indicator, part required - Pal - 03-01-15 I had a look on there but I can seem to locate the sensor. I can find the shift drum that it goes on the end of, but no sensor, the electrical page is just about ignition stuff. Could you point me to the sensor? Re: Removing gear indicator, part required - darrsi - 03-01-15 Gear indicators are an add on, they're not standard kit. Re: Removing gear indicator, part required - Pal - 03-01-15 I realise the gear position sensor is not an original part, what I'm after is the standard neutral position sensor plate that has been replaced on my bike when the gear indicator was fitted. Has anyone got one spare or can supply the part number please? Re: Removing gear indicator, part required - darrsi - 04-01-15 Sorry fella, i'm not entirely sure what part you're on about? Re: Removing gear indicator, part required - unfazed - 04-01-15 These are the parts you need Neutral Switch part number is 1AE−82540−00 and maybe an oil seal part number 93210−29196 If the wire to the switch was cut to fit the led indicator you may also need the cable 5RT−82541−00 These parts should be available from a breaker Re: Removing gear indicator, part required - Pal - 08-01-15 (04-01-15, 11:13 PM)unfazed link Wrote: These are the parts you needCheers mate that's exactly the information I needed The original wire is still screwed to the replacement switch, in addition to the cable for the gear indicator, so just the switch and seal will do me. Thanks again |
