chinese levers - bri h - 01-11-14 hello gents a quick word of warning. i bought a pair of clutch/brake levers of a link somebody posted on here, the clutch was fine but the brake lever wont fit my 08 gen two. still at 16 quid it was worth a punt. the brake lever is too wide to fit into the bracket, i dont know if they will fit a gen one but if anyone wants to try them they are welcome to them. Re: chinese levers - mickvp - 01-11-14 I had a problem with one of mine when I bought em too (the clutch lever side though). I emailed the seller and they sent me another pair out FOC, pretty nice of them. Just a thought for you anyway, might be worth getting in touch in case it has been a genuine mistake. Re: chinese levers - devilsyam - 01-11-14 i have pair of folding ones clutch fouls switch gear seller is arguing the toss even after i sent him a picture Re: chinese levers - bri h - 02-11-14 thanks gents i got then on ebay and paid by paypal so i will try and get my money back at least. Re: chinese levers - tex - 02-11-14 i had similar issues , clutch was fine, but brake was slightly different , gave far to much travel, could go right back to throttle if squeezed hard. Re: chinese levers - bri h - 02-11-14 Ive taken micks advice and emailed them so ill see what happens to be fair i wasnt expecting to much for something that cost one tenth of pazzo levers. Re: chinese levers - nickodemon - 16-11-14 I have ordered several sets for different bikes and they all fitted fine. The only issue with the gen 1 ones are you have to remember to use the bush out of the original clutch lever. |
