Re: Wanted: FZS1000 2003 Radiator - b1k3rdude - 30-10-14 Another option is getting the existing rad repaired or better a clone made (assuming they dont already have a template foir the fzs 1000 rad) - http://www.aaronradiator.co.uk/pages/motorcycle.html These guys might have one or can make one - - http://www.carcooling.co.uk/catalog/Motorcycle_Radiators-3819-1.html - http://www.westmerciaradiators.co.uk/motorbike_radiator_repairs.html Re: Wanted: FZS1000 2003 Radiator - chris1969 - 30-10-14 (30-10-14, 06:49 PM)b1k3rdude link Wrote:
No, I thought it would but some of the mounting are wrong.
Very true. That second one looks almost as bad as the one I've had to junk!! :eek Re: Wanted: FZS1000 2003 Radiator - b1k3rdude - 30-10-14 If your isnt leaking then its probably a good candidate for a repair/refurb. Re: Wanted: FZS1000 2003 Radiator - chris1969 - 30-10-14 Its leaking, and tabs have corroded off, and it has a big dent in it. Its not great. Re: Wanted: FZS1000 2003 Radiator - solorider - 30-10-14 When you buy any motor parts from out of Europe there is no minimum amount to get charged import tax and vat, I know from experience as I got stung on a cd changer that cost £20 from America, they even charged me the vat and tax on the dollar amount. The cut-off value for VAT is £18 and for import duty it's £135. So you should only have been charged VAT. You were probably ripped off by the courier. Wasn't TNT by any chance ? |
