Crashed Damaged Fazer - What makes a fork do this? - chris1969 - 22-10-14 Been checking out a FZS1000 for sale from a bike shop near me today. It's a Cat C write off so a lot to check out. From what I can see, there really isn't anything drastically wrong with it, however, I would like to know what sort of impact would make the fork do this (hopefully the pic will upload)? Obviously the forks need replacing, as will the yokes, but I would have expected the forks legs to be really mullered in order for it to come out like that. Is this a weak spot on the original Fazer forks or something? FYI i have a complete front end lying about (forks, yokes, wheel and mudguard (silver)) which i might part with for money. used to have an 1100S myself (chipped,laser cans, Y piece, GS torque arm, BCR suspension, Schnitzer rearsets, lennies) Re: Crashed Damaged Fazer - What makes a fork do this? - chris1969 - 22-10-14 The R1100s is a top bike, but man is it heavy lump of a bike!! Should be taking delivery of the bike next week, once it's in the garage I will take the front end apart and see what is needed. At the moment with all that's broken on it I just want to ditch the nasty anodized engine bolts!!
