300bhp production motorcycle.. Are Kawasaki trying to kill us? lol - FuZzBoM - 30-09-14 http://www.motorcyclenews.com/mcn/news/newsresults/new-bikes/2014/september/cologne-show-radical-kawasaki-ninja-h2/ Looks like a nutter mobile.. how can they let that on the road lol Next will probably be a 600cc supercharged producing 200bhp ![]() Re: 300bhp production motorcycle.. Are Kawasaki trying to kill us? lol - Panthor - 30-09-14 amazing looking bike, think they said that the H2R will be for track and they will end up releasing a tuned down H2 for road users. Re: 300bhp production motorcycle.. Are Kawasaki trying to kill us? lol - FuZzBoM - 30-09-14 Yeah but knowing what these manufacturers are like now days it will probably be an addon package. But still if you can buy it off the shelf with 300bhp still technically a production bike. Personally I will be too lardy for it but will have a sit on one at Brum in November. Also like the look of the GSX-S1000 http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/newsresults/New-bikes/2014/September/Cologne-Show-All-new-Suzuki-GSX-S1000/ Re: 300bhp production motorcycle.. Are Kawasaki trying to kill us? lol - BBROWN1664 - 30-09-14 300bhp and 115ft/lb of torque. If you buy one you will be on first name terms with the Pirelli rep because of the amount of rear tyres you will shred. Re: 300bhp production motorcycle.. Are Kawasaki trying to kill us? lol - bigralphie - 30-09-14 But that's why we (well me ) love Kwaks huge power :evil Re: 300bhp production motorcycle.. Are Kawasaki trying to kill us? lol - stevierst - 30-09-14 I'd love a go on it, but couldn't own one!! Re: 300bhp production motorcycle.. Are Kawasaki trying to kill us? lol - bri h - 30-09-14 isnt there some homolgolisation rule about having to have some to sell to us before you can enter them for wsb ? Re: 300bhp production motorcycle.. Are Kawasaki trying to kill us? lol - snapper - 30-09-14 "first name terms with the Pirelli rep" and prob every petrol station for fifty miles ! Tyres yes, petrol no. Supercharged engines and normally more efficient than just larger ones! Re: 300bhp production motorcycle.. If you cane it all the time, that forced induction is going to be cramming fuel down the thing's throat at a stupendous rate. Ride it at a more leisurely pace, and then you get good fuel consumption. So who's going to buy one to ride at a leisurely pace? ![]() Shame they did this with a sports bike design. I would've liked to see a Kawasaki answer to the V-Max or Hayabusa with a supercharger; seems to make more sense to me. Re: 300bhp production motorcycle.. Are Kawasaki trying to kill us? lol - snapper - 01-10-14 To be honest i was thinking tank size more than anything looking at the bike frame and body work its got to be less than 3 gallons in old money Re: 300bhp production motorcycle.. Likely be on first name terms with the old bill as well and if you are very lucky the Triage Nurse at the A&E, just madness allowing some idiot like me to go into a shop and say I'll one of those please. :evil Re: 300bhp production motorcycle.. Are Kawasaki trying to kill us? lol - bigralphie - 07-10-14 Well if Kawasaki follow the current trend they may offer a naked and an adventure version in the future ![]() Re: 300bhp production motorcycle.. Are Kawasaki trying to kill us? lol - papercutout - 07-10-14 115lb/ft is really low for the power output. It'll obviously absolutely fly, but maybe the torque curve is that high across the range, so no matter what gear/speed you get pull. It's a nuts bike though. |
