Anyone going? Nice and central for lots of folks to get to. The Haynes Motor Museum Show gave me a taster, but this should be much bigger/better.

Sounds good Nick... I cant' confirm until closer to the time; however you can put me down as a definite maybe... We could meet up on route (The Air Baloon or the Fosse Way +/-)...  Wink

Been to this show a few times. It's well worth a look, particularly if you like to see classic Japanese bikes in concours trim. There is a large outdoor area which is mainly autojumble & trade stalls, with quite a few whole bikes for sale, leading down to the indoor halls with all the minter display bikes and more trade/jumble/n.o.s stuff. They usually have an auction of bikes on the sunday as well. The only downside if you are travelling by car, which a lot do,cos they are hoping to go home with lots of parts for their restoration projects,is the usual to queue to get in & parked up.Recommended  viewing. Smile.

...just watched the video on the link, yep that pretty much sums it up,except it looks like maybe that was filmed on the Friday setting up (it gets a lot busier than that!).Bet the owners of those Z1's in the vid had their hearts in their mouths! Big Grin.

Re: Staffordshire Classic Bike Show - red98 - 11-10-14

Re: Staffordshire Classic Bike Show - nick crisp - 11-10-14

Will be watching the forecast. If good, definitely going  Smile

Re: Staffordshire Classic Bike Show - red98 - 11-10-14

Yeh, bit changeable at mo, nice today though....be a shame to go to a bike show in the cage  :o

Re: Staffordshire Classic Bike Show - nick crisp - 11-10-14

I'm told that car parking can be a bugger there, cos loads of people go in cars to load up with spares 'n' stuff from the autojumble. If not biking weather, I'll probably give it a miss, but let's think positive  Smile

Re: Staffordshire Classic Bike Show - YamFazFan - 11-10-14

The long range forecast saying mostly cloudy, but with little chance of rain at the mo.We will be driving up by car tho, fingers x the queue not too bad & loads of bargains in the autojumble!.

Re: Staffordshire Classic Bike Show - red98 - 12-10-14

i`ll be on the look out for spares,if i take the bike i`ll bolt the top box on,i need some forks for my x7,hard to find good`uns seconhand but you can bet if iam on the bike ill see a set  :o .....also noticed "the wall of death " will be there, bit extra to get in but well worth it,worth going to the show just for that  Wink

Car parking is accross the road, there is now a pedestrian underpass which takes you into the showground.

Re: Staffordshire Classic Bike Show - YamFazFan - 13-10-14

It's not the actual parking that can be a bit of a pain if you go by car,but the length of the queue stretching up the road to get into the car park which can go all the way along Weston road,Queensway and a bit.Still well worth a look tho Smile. The underpass has been there for years.
