I used to jump start cars with mine after it'd been out in sub zero temps. Re: Motobatt - slimwilly - 25-08-14 Mine is a year old and seems good,, dont be tempted to leave them on trickle charger over the winter,,if you need to top them up once every month or two,, Re: Motobatt - MEM62 - 26-08-14 I have had one on my FZS1000 for a couple of years and it is still fine. Starts the bike first time. Impressive considering its not even on a trickle charger as I have no power in my garage. Re: Motobatt - onejay - 27-08-14 mine arrived today it has plenty of power nut anything would have been better than the item i removed it was split down one side :eek Re: Motobatt - nsr500v4 - 28-08-14 Battery ordered, hopefully it will arrive before the weekend! With my luck it will be wet this weekend too............... :'( Re: Motobatt - Jinx46 - 29-08-14 Its a good battery. Had mine about 3 years no problems. The price on Busters now is roughly what i payed for mine. Re: Motobatt - onejay - 30-08-14 the reason why i had to change mine ![]() Re: Motobatt - ogri48 - 31-08-14 Nasty mate..did you lose any paint on the frame before you realised it was knacked? Re: Motobatt - nsr500v4 - 31-08-14 Well, i stuck the motobatt in today and wow what a difference even on the cranking, so much faster than the original battery! I will certainly but that again if need be..... Re: Motobatt - onejay - 01-09-14 I haven't noticed any damage. Bike will be painted over the winter as the tank is scratched. |
