New owner - Yamaluke - 23-08-14 Hi there. Just bought a 2002 FZS600 which I pick up Monday! Cant wait, have heard good things about these bikes Any things I should know? I'm aware of the front fender extender I need to get ( best one to buy?).Any further things I should know? Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks Re: New owner - mickvp - 23-08-14 I had a pyramid front fenda extender on my 600. Worked fine, but I imagine the cheaper ones are just as good. have a look here: http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php?action=search search for "front sprocket nut". there is a known issue with these on the 600's. Yamahe released a different designed nut (12mm wide as opposed to 9mm). pop the sprocket cover off and have a look which one yours has got, and consider changing it if its 9mm wide. there are loads of threads with pictures and info about it if you search though ![]() Welcome to the forum! Re: New owner - Yamaluke - 23-08-14 Here she is. Only 9000 miles What is the colour exactly? Need to get a touch up pen please ![]() Re: New owner - Yamaluke - 23-08-14 Thanks Mick.
