I got mine from theses guys. I ordered an 87mm one for my 1000, tight fit, but does the job well. Might have one to suit you.

what a coincidence my stand spring snapped tonight, has anyone got one or know of an alternative or what the overall length should be, thanks in advance

I'll measure the one my FZS1000 with the stand up tomoz, should be a fair approximation as the spring is almost loose at that point.

removed my spring from the 600 and the best I could work out is
length 110mm
extended length 140mm
wire thickness 3.8mm
outside diameter 26mm
the closest I can find on a spring manufacture website is
