Strip rear panels and shorten? - helloindustries - 21-06-14 Very much considering removing the rear panels, moving the CDI etc forward and dumping the stock rear light in favour of something just behind the sub-frame and LED-like. Then remounting the indicators and plate. Anyone seen this done? Would love to see some 'after' shots so that i can decide if i want to spend the time/effort/money. If i DO go through with it, i imagine i'll sell the rear plastics on ebay or something, which will probably cover the cost. I'll be keeping the stock seat and grab rail. Not modding the frame itself. I just find the rear to be WAY too long. Next step will be to get a shorter can... My inspiration is this, although not quite as stumpy - I want the seat to be long enough for someone to sit pillion. |
