Jumpy gauge - woodwizzard - 17-06-14 When the fuel tank is full the needle shows full and is stable, when it starts to drop it waves around quite alot. Is this most likely a dodgey sender unit? Re: Jumpy gauge - Captain Haddock - 17-06-14 Probably just the fuel sloshing around, mine moves a lot under acceleration and braking. Re: Jumpy gauge - snapper - 18-06-14 might be worth checking the electical conections especially the big one under the tank , this one cause me a few worries speedo fuel lights spray of electrical clean and sorted just an idea Re: Jumpy gauge - woodwizzard - 18-06-14 Thanks guys. Not sloshing, its like an electrical switch being flicked on and off. Have checked and cleaned connectors and they seem ok. I know what mpg its doing, so can go by the trip, its just annoying having the needle jumping about. |
