FZS 1000 Exup Motor Wanted - bigbluebear - 14-06-14 As title. Exup motor wanted, my cables are free and my mechanic says the motor is sticking Re: FZS 1000 Exup Motor Wanted - Kosmic Kartman - 14-06-14 Have you tried a bit of 3in1 oil and a squirt of WD40 between the servo and the pulley wheel? I had this problem a few years ago and it's been right as rain ever since. And while your at it you should give the exup valve a service and replace the 3x M6x5 (that hold the chrome cover on) and the 3x M6x15(or 10) that holdthe exup plate on with Stainless steel or better Titanium. [/quote] I used AC 90.....the exup was serviced whilst looking for the fault....bolts replaced too Re: FZS 1000 Exup Motor Wanted - fireblake - 17-06-14 I took my servo off and used pliers to turn the pulley back and forth. Plenty of 3 in 1 and not had a problem for over a year. Mickey |
