Adjustable levers-recommendations? - Dave48 - 09-05-14 Can anyone recommend a brand/supplier for the FZS 600 ? I see plenty listed for FZS 1000. Ideally the longer length pattern. Finding it a bit of a stretch on the standard clutch! Thanks Re: Adjustable levers-recommendations? - Punkstig - 09-05-14 The clutch lever is the harder one to get hold of (typical) I don't think it shares the unit with any other bike making it more expensive to get hold of a lever. Other option is to source a thundercat lever bracket off eBay and then an adjustable lever for that which is more common Re: Adjustable levers-recommendations? - Punkstig - 09-05-14 Thinking about it I may have changed to a thundercat cable too! Re: Adjustable levers-recommendations? - risticuss - 09-05-14 Have you thought of going the cnc levers route. Plenty have got the Chinese ebay ones fitted though you'd have a ask one of those guys how they're getting on with them though. Re: Adjustable levers-recommendations? - Dave48 - 09-05-14 Thanks for replies-I will wait & see if anyone with these cnc levers replies. Re: Adjustable levers-recommendations? - Punkstig - 09-05-14 Me- and as I've explained- hard to get hold of the clutch lever cheaply that you are after! Re: Adjustable levers-recommendations? - chaz - 09-05-14 you should be able to get some off ebay via HongKong, I have some on my bikes and can't fault them and under £20 inc. p&p. You can't adjust the clutch too much as you need the movement to opperate the clutch? make sure the cable is oiled you can make a funnel from a small plastic bag make a hole in the corner just big enough to get the cable through then tape it to the outer, put some oil in the bag and hang it up for a few hours or until it comes out the other end, it makes the clutch much lighter to use. |
