Re: TV series, what are you watching? - mickvp - 25-04-14 Oh God: Supernatural Game of thrones Grimm The mentalist Criminal minds The following The blacklist Bates motel Arrow Banshee White collar Those are the main ones I follow and am upto date with. I've also recently watched and completed dexter and breaking bad. Yeah, I don't sleep much :lol Re: TV series, what are you watching? - hightower - 25-04-14 Started watching Heroes again, House of Cards, Rev. - that's about it really, don't watch much tele Re: TV series, what are you watching? - Dead Eye - 25-04-14 Currently making my way through Star Trek: Voyager for like the 10th time, also keeping up with Game of Thrones, Arrow, The Big Bang Theory. Once Voyager is over, I'm likely going to start up Babylon 5 again as I really love that show. Also looking forward to the new season of Falling Skies in June and I need to catch up on The Walking Dead I have a sort of cycle of TV shows (80%+ Sci-Fi) that I go through - StarGate is always the interesting one as there are 17 Seasons between SG-1, Atlantis and Universe. Takes me a good 6 months to burn through that... Re: TV series, what are you watching? - Frosties - 25-04-14 Just finished running Band of Brothers, now started The Pacific....again :lol Re: TV series, what are you watching? - andybesy - 25-04-14 I'm watching Stargate again myself! Greatly underestimated series - really good sense of humour alongside above average writing and production values. Just made it to series 10 so there's about 150 hours of my life I'm never getting back, on to Stargate Atlantis next! Here's a recommendation for you - the first series of Orange is the New Black was great! I'm eagerly awaiting the next series due soon I think. Andy Re: TV series, what are you watching? - MadDogMcQ - 25-04-14 "BELIEVE" on the Watch Channel has been quite good up to now. My all time faves include... * Game Of Thrones * Line Of Duty * Waking The Dead * New Tricks * STNG * ST Voyager Re: TV series, what are you watching? - brooker81 - 25-04-14 Breaking bad. Dexter. GOT. House of cards. The Office (US) Re: TV series, what are you watching? - CRH - 25-04-14 first time i saw that game of thongs"..thought we where watching a porno! :b ....good stuff though!! ![]() Re: TV series, what are you watching? - Fazerider - 25-04-14 Breaking Bad is about the only thing that's ever sounded appealing to me on the Sky platform, which I don't have as I can't bear the thought of giving money to the Murdochs. I watch detective series like Line of Duty, but am particularly addicted to foreign language ones like Wallander, The Killing, The Bridge and Spiral. Inspector Montalbano was crap, but I still watched it for the scenery. Enjoyed Orphan Black and am currently watching Suits (though it feels a slightly guilty pleasure). Going back a while: Star Trek NG, Farscape, Lexx and, back to detective series: the one that started the trend for deliberately wobbly camerawork... NYPD Blue. The Shield was a real landmark: a brilliantly gritty series. Re: TV series, what are you watching? - locksmith - 25-04-14 Just started Breaking Bad on Netflix, looks good! Re: TV series, what are you watching? - Dead Eye - 25-04-14 Breaking Bad is awesome, watched that a few times I also want to go through Orange Is The New Black as that has been recommended to me. Previously, I've watched (some more than once... others more than a dozen times :|) Star Trek: Enterprise Star Trek: The Next Generation Star Trek: Deep Space 9 Chuck Community Battlestar Galactica (not the original) Defiance Eureka Firefly (shame it was cancelled ![]() Friends Homeland How I Met Your Mother My Wife And Kids Red Dwarf Suits Two And A Half Men Under The Dome ... I have a reasonable library... I tried Believe, but the "annoyingly cute kid with powers" got on my nerves too much. Also, although it's finished it's run now, a big mention for Bluestone 42. Reminds me of another one thats missing from my list which is better than Elementary - Sherlock! Re: TV series, what are you watching? - mr self destruct - 25-04-14 I hardly watch any TV, at the moment NCIS, Law & Order, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D* and Big Bang Theory are pretty much it. *And for the record, that piece of shit Marvel Fazer on ebay isn't mine. :b Re: TV series, what are you watching? - red imp - 25-04-14 I quiet like the Call Centre , that Nev seems a mad but fair boss. I would have agreed with you, if the last three episodes hadn't been, frankly, totally naff. SPOILERS AHEAD FOR SERIES 3 OF SHERLOCK IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH THEM WHEN THEY WERE ON... The producers obviously couldn't figure out how to get Sherlock back from the dead, so they gave us a whole load of flim-flam and no actual explanation. The wedding stuff was boring and embarrassing and frankly silly (would someone *really* not notice they've been stabbed in the back?) And would *ANY* sensible blackmailer not have some form of "Dead Man's Handle" setup in place such that, if someone killed them, all their information would be released? All deeply disappointing ![]() Re: TV series, what are you watching? - ferritt - 25-04-14 All of the above + Sparacus Fringe House of lies Deadwood True blood Revolution Re: TV series, what are you watching? - mickvp - 25-04-14 (25-04-14, 10:03 PM)Grahamm link Wrote: [quote author=mickvp link=topic=12793.msg144486#msg144486 date=1398450627] I would have agreed with you, if the last three episodes hadn't been, frankly, totally naff. I think a lot of that "alternate death" stuff was a homage to the hardcore sherlock fans who have been talking like that on forums etc. keeps them guessing. Unfortunately, for joe public like us, it was just a bit alienating. Re: TV series, what are you watching? - Lazarus - 25-04-14 Revolution Game of Thrones The Following |
