Fazer thou rear caliper mod... - HaVoC - 23-04-14 I'm wanting to put a fazer thou rear caliper (blue spot) on a fzs600, I've got one on the way to me from the states, the question is do I need to get a fazer thou torque arm and whats required to mount it and the caliper? Apologies as I know this has been discussed a million times before but I've just spent a good half hour looking though this forum for a guide! Re: Fazer thou rear caliper mod... - emjaydee - 23-04-14 http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,12420.msg139242.html#msg139242 there's a quick guide on how to fit it here. The thou torque arm is too long for the 600, you need to purchase an arm off a thunderace, which fits perfectly. Re: Fazer thou rear caliper mod... - Geordi Sussex - 24-04-14 My fazer 1000 caliper fitted onto the fzs600 bracket I needed to take a couple of mm off with a dremel and that was it Quick and simple mod to do Re: Fazer thou rear caliper mod... - Geordi Sussex - 24-04-14 Why do you need to change the torque arm? I've just kept the fzs600 one Re: Fazer thou rear caliper mod... - HaVoC - 24-04-14 Do you need to change the torque arm? Admittedly it looks a lot better than the original, but length wise is there any difference or could I get away with the original torque arm? Many thanks for the link, you did a great step by step guide, looks relatively straight forward! Re: Fazer thou rear caliper mod... - emjaydee - 24-04-14 I changed mine just for the looks, you don't need to change it. Re: Fazer thou rear caliper mod... - HaVoC - 24-04-14 Cool! I might do it myself when I get a bit of funds together, thanks again man! |
