I'm enjoying this series a lot! If you want to do another long distance trip with tons of luggage, please let me know - I modified my previous Fazer to tow a trailer, and have ample storage space (and want to put it to the test)!

(That bike is off the road due to a crash. But I still have the trailer and the Fazer towbar!!  Big Grin )

If you want to experience real hardship and adventure, just take Christo with you!  :lol
Haven't had a chance to watch these yet, but will when I can.

Christo, things like this may be possible on a shoestring budget, but no one accepts debt in payment...at the rate you're saying you're gonna do this, that and the other, you'll have spent your life's wages before you get your first proper pay packet  :rolleyes

Re: Recent Bike Trip to Europe under £900? - ChristoT - 12-04-14

I'm guessing his next long distance trek won't be for a while. Project Fazer is number one, everythi.ng else is speculation - for now... Wink

Still, no harm in having a few dreams I suppose, plenty of those myself - you should at least try to do some of them while you're still young/in one piece (kind of  :lol  ).

Re: Recent Bike Trip to Europe under £900? - ChristoT - 12-04-14

There's an old French story (that I can barely remember, admittedly) about a little boy who walked everywhere looking straight up at the sky. He bumped into a lot of things (don't say a feckin' thing!), fell down a lot of holes.

His brother was the opposite, always looking at the ground he was tilling or sowing, never stopping to appreciate the natural beauty. And he used to berate his brother for it.

One day, still daydreaming, the boy fell down a hole, and discovered a lost treasure.
Long story short, the dreamer's wishes came true (and I think at one point the hardworking brother is jailed - but later freed).

ChristoT- your set up - sounds like an adventure on its own!...perhaps sponsored by a local removal company? :rolleyes

joking apart...thank you for watching- I really appreciate the comments- the work gone into it seems miles away when I get ANY feedback.
