Go pro's - Looney tune - 20-03-14

Can anyone tell me what mounts you are using to mount one on your bike and where. I have access to one when I want to use it and need to buy a mount/mounts. FZ1n owner.

Thanks

Russ

I'm using curved sticky 3m mounts on mine one on helmet one on mudguard just cheap ones from eBay and I've had no probs whats so ever was a bit worried at first but had no issues at all

Re: Go pro's - budgiemurray - 20-03-14

Got a aluminium handlebar mount on mines looking through the screen. Ialso have the chest strap and im tempted to try that and see how that goes.. should be less vibration mounted on yourself rather than the bike.
Brooker81. Not been brave enough to try the stick on mounts yet.. whats the verdict? What speeds etc

Re: Go pro's - brooker81 - 20-03-14

proper sticky just clean helmet/surface properly before mounting ive been over a tonne with mine on no probs at all just check after every ride still stuck well but i'm happy that its not going anywhere. videos are clear and little shake but lots of wind noise but use gopro studio to remove that.

Brooker. Have you tried the gopro with the open slotted back door on it?
As to the stickiness thats good to hear. Ive ordered some od those little sticky lanyard ones too for extra security..

i put two on mine (come with the camera) one on the master cylinder, and one down next to the crash bung ( which i prefer)

Got myself the RAM handlebar mount, tried it out yesterday on the easter egg run and it was very good. Cheers.

Tried mines yesterday. Mounted on the base of the screen and works just fine.. sound wasnt bad either.

Helmet mount works well but is a bit noisy - especially at motorway speeds. RAM mount on bars also works well but you're always looking through the screen.

For something completely different try strapping to your pillion footpeg facing rearwards  :b

Re: Go pro's - bigfootpete - 16-04-14

I've got a sticky mount on the top on my helmet and use one of the handlebar clamps that works best on the mushroom on the left - otherwise you get too much vibration.

But I haven't used it in six months and the battery is dead (piece of crap), I really need to sell it, but I'm a lazy git!
