fazer fork bottoms - Kentish - 14-03-14 anyone know what colour silver to use on the foxeye? can they be sprayed without taking them apart? Re: fazer fork bottoms - Chris - 15-03-14 Not sure about colour. I took mine off the bike and sanded them then hung them from the garage roof with some wire through the axle holes. I sprayed mine black and they look much nicer in my opinion. If I was to do it again I'd take them apart and get them powder coated. Chris Re: fazer fork bottoms - MarkWales - 15-03-14 Mine I think are clear coated - I was thinking of going black with mine Re: fazer fork bottoms - chunk166 - 15-03-14 (15-03-14, 12:56 AM)Chris link Wrote: Not sure about colour. Have you got a picture, mine have been stripped back to the alloy but its a crap job as bits have been missed!! Re: fazer fork bottoms - griff86 - 15-03-14 I got my lowers and swingarm powdercoated at Triple S in Bingley. Re: fazer fork bottoms - MarkWales - 15-03-14 I like the Black forks and swing arm At this rate my bike will be more black than silver lol Re: fazer fork bottoms - ChristoT - 15-03-14 (15-03-14, 08:22 PM)MarkWales link Wrote: I like the Black forks and swing arm Faster then! :lol Re: fazer fork bottoms - chunk166 - 15-03-14 That looks good :b Re: fazer fork bottoms - Chris - 16-03-14 Here's mine, I'll see if I have any better pics of the forks... http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=307830&highlight=yamaha+fazer Chris Re: fazer fork bottoms - theglove1978 - 16-03-14 Lovely blue Fazer! Liking the black fork bottoms . Its a part of my Fazer which really spoils it. Everything else is pretty clean for the age of the bike but let down by the nasty corrosion on the forks.I have access to a powder coater but assume its not an easy job removing the forks so a job for later in the year. Re: fazer fork bottoms - Chris - 16-03-14 Thanks, ![]() removing the forks isn't too hard, just got to make sure they're all lined up right when you put them back on. haha. Chris Here's a better pic of the front end:
