I'm looking at selling the wife's car as she's getting something a bit bigger. I know this is a bike forum but thought I'd post in case someone needed (or knows of someone looking for) a cheap run around.
She's had the car 2 years, before that it was another lady owner from new (I believe, might be wrong on this).
Costs her about £36 to fill up which will see about 300 miles door to door. £30 a year to tax. Mileage is about 30-31,000 last time I checked.
The car got in a dance with a sign post about 18 months ago - was small damage, fixed without informing insurance and been driven daily since without issue. Just mentioning for the interests of honesty.
Smart little run around, cheap as chips to run.
The bad bits: Okay, not a lot to mention here, but it will want two front tyres in the next few months (but not desperate). Only other thing I can think of is that once in a blue moon (very rare) it starts idling at about 1500rpm when warm. This doesn't affect the running it seems, no errors on computer (had it checked) and is only intermittent - my thoughts are it's the water temperature sensor playing up, causing it to think it's colder than it is meaning it idles a bit higher. They cost about £15 I think to replace - just not got around to sorting it yet.
Anyway, I know this thread is worthless without pics, but I don't have any yet - if anyone shows any interest I'd be happy to grab some pics and give whatever info you need.
Oh, it's in North East (Durham area), and as for price I'm quite open to sensible offers.
