Forum logo - Dead Eye - 11-01-14
Recently, since the theme has reverted after Christmas and the New Year, the logo appears to have been savaged by some strange obelisk of blackness

Comes from the tradition of placing a Black ribbon across the corner of a photograph to show the subject is deceased.
And if a Flag cannot be lowered to half mast, (which I guess our banner is), a black ribbon is attached.
I think the Admins did a good job :thumbup
Bringing traditional mourning symbols to the new internet, where I don't think there can be any established ones yet
