Here's a thing for you - fazersharp - 06-01-14 How come im out on my bike in the cold and total strangers come up to me and say "oh I bet you're cold" and then in the summer total strangers come up to me and say "oh I bet your hot" on both accounts NO and foc off. So how come they never say "oh I bet you are having a fantastic time out on your bike aren't you" Re: Here's a thing for you - dazza - 06-01-14 And the winner is.....fazersharp, for the most random and pointless post of the week (so far) ![]() Re: Here's a thing for you - limax2 - 06-01-14 Surely you've got that wrong dazza, I thought it was the most sensible and factual post of the week (so far) :thumbup Re: Here's a thing for you - Dead Eye - 06-01-14 Someone asked me the other day if my bike "was as fun as it looked" Took it as compliment, although having an obvious answer ![]() Re: Here's a thing for you - hightower - 06-01-14 I got this the other day too. "Ooooo, I bet it's getting cold on that for you". "No, it's called layers". Re: Here's a thing for you - stevierst - 06-01-14 The best one was when I went into the doctors in my leathers to pick something up for the wife. One of the nurses saw me and said "oh look, an organ donor" Re: Here's a thing for you - fazersharp - 07-01-14 :eek :rollin Re: Here's a thing for you - hightower - 07-01-14 What was your reaction?! Re: Here's a thing for you - stevierst - 07-01-14 I was gobsmacked! I just thought "cheeky cow", but couldn't say anything as she walked off somewhere straight away never to be seen again. Re: Here's a thing for you - bigbluebear - 07-01-14 Sounds like she wanted a bit of cock Re: Here's a thing for you - Lawrence - 07-01-14 (07-01-14, 09:36 AM)bigbluebear link Wrote: Sounds like she wanted a bit of cockThere's an organ donation joke in there somewhere... Re: Here's a thing for you - stevierst - 07-01-14 She needed a lot of cock, she was a BIG girl !!!!! :o Re: Here's a thing for you - nick crisp - 07-01-14 (07-01-14, 09:32 AM)stevierst link Wrote: I was gobsmacked! Should've used: no, don't go, stay and hear what I think of you, ya fat bitch... Re: Here's a thing for you - bri h - 08-01-14 Hate to be the one to break it to you but a and e staff have been calling us organ doners for years. Re: Here's a thing for you - adeejaysdelight - 08-01-14 (07-01-14, 09:36 AM)bigbluebear link Wrote: Sounds like she wanted a bit of cock Is that an organ? Re: Here's a thing for you - adeejaysdelight - 08-01-14 I have no idea why people say shite like "you must be cold/hot...". I mean, I didn't just arrive from outer space, its the same focking temperature for me as it is for you! I guess its unnecessary small talk for strangers. As a wee footnote, I am an organ donor because a Surgeon told me (the day after assisting in a 13 hour emergency surgery) that for me not to be is a waste of perfectly good organs (apart from the one they just cut out and put in the bin :'( ). Re: Here's a thing for you - Grahamm - 09-01-14 IMO *everyone* who is not excluded for medial reasons should sign the Organ Donor Register. (However, just for clarity, I'll point out that I do NOT support a compulsory opt-in system. It's my gift, not something which the State can or should be able to require of me!) Re: Here's a thing for you - stevierst - 09-01-14 I think it should be automatic, they're no good to you once your gone! Its fair enough in a way, but still sad for people who wanted to give that gift to someone. Dont agree it should be mandatory though - and I think some religions are anti-donation? Re: Here's a thing for you - stevierst - 09-01-14 Ok, so if it's medical or religious then fair enough. But I do think you should have to 'opt out' with a reasonable excuse rather than expressing your interest onto the register by carrying a card. That in itself would save even more lives, and I'm all for saving lives. |
