carb heater question - solorider - 29-12-13 after looking on the net i removed the carb heater pipes on my bike, the question is am i better off reconnecting the pipes? , i have the carbs off at the moment to ivanise them so while they are off i could remove the rubber pipes etc to make things look better. Re: carb heater question - Falcon 269 - 30-12-13 Depends on whether or not you ride in conditions likely to cause carb icing (ie, moist air, temps just above freezing). If you've not suffered carb icing since disconnecting the system, I think you have your answer. ![]() Re: carb heater question - bludclot - 30-12-13 carb icing is just horrible. i would definitely put them back. |
