Chain - elbrownos - 27-12-13 Easy question - I'm after a new chain & sprockets. Is this a good choice? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-FZS600-FAZER-98-03-DID-X-RING-CHAIN-SPROCKET-KIT-/270978385558?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item3f17920696 Cheers elbrownos Re: Chain - Fraser - 27-12-13 It doesn't get much better than that, and its a good price. Advise you ring Busters BEFORE you place order, they don't always have stock of all items advertised. Re: Chain - MarkWales - 27-12-13 this is the one I am looking to fit ready for the new season - on the stock side of things that has me surprised as Busters are M and P with a huge store Re: Chain - MarkWales - 27-12-13 The Part numbers Busters supply are The kit includes front 15T (051315) and rear sprocket 48T (085948) and DID X Ring Chain (620110) for £79.99 delivered as M and P is only down the road I compared the parts and prices with them and found the price to be 15T (051315) £6.69 48T (085948) £26.59 DID H/D X-Ring Chain 530VXx106 £69.99 so £103.27 Re: Chain - darrsi - 28-12-13 Splash out and get the heavy duty gold one, they're priddy and will last longer with little maintenance if you treat it well. ![]() Get it from anywhere but M&P or Busters if you want it before 2015, they take the piss every time with delivery. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-FZS600-FAZER-97-03-NEW-DID-X-RING-HEAVY-DUTY-GOLD-CHAIN-SPROCKET-KIT-/130888152387?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item1e798ab543 Re: Chain - NotAnotherHill - 28-12-13 (28-12-13, 09:43 AM)darrsi link Wrote: Splash out and get the heavy duty gold one, they're priddy and will last longer with little maintenance if you treat it well. +1 for this one. Just put one on mine after a piddly inferior chain lasted 4k. The heavy duty gold DID that I had on had done at least 17k. [/quote] As long as you keep them regularly lubed up and tensioned correctly they last for ages. Re: Chain - elbrownos - 30-12-13 Thanks gang Busters said they have it in stock so I have bought one (standard not gold) |
