scooters on L plates - midden - 12-11-13

I'm fast coming to the conclusion the worst vehicles on the streets of London for motorbikes are scooters on L plates.  They are a bit like snowboarders to skiers imho
They are even worse than Addison lee cars

Feckin agree totally - feckers just pop out of traffic when your filtering and just act like cyclists swerving all over the bloody road.

Scared the shit out of one this morning who started to cut across without looking- horn, me shouting my nuts off and pretending to aim a kick.........he slowed down for some reason  :lol

Don't get me started. I find revving to the red line (I have no baffle) far more effective than the horn / shouting combo.

Although one of the little cnuts, who had thoroughly deserved the treatment, sidled up to me on his smelly two stroke at Trafalgar square recently  and said "Excuse me, do you realise that was in my face"

Excuse me, I find this all quite highly offensive!

What exactly is wrong with snowboarders!?

Re: scooters on L plates - fazersharp - 13-11-13

And another thing they go down the street like meeeeeeeer -off gas- meeeeeeer- off gas--meeeeeeer. Trying to sound like they have gears and are changing them

Well my experience as a self taught skier (the jump and hope for the best approach (I did rather well if I say so myself, apart from the 1st time chair lift experience which was a hoot)) snow boarders just cut across my path without a care in the world.

The usual 2 sides to an argument - there are twats on L plates, but on the other hand, everyone needs to start somewhere; some (though not all) will go on to do their bike test. Some will learn road safety the hard way though....

And...aaaaaaaaaaaand the way the feckers squeeze their hair dryers into the gap (read no feckin gap) next to yours if you have to park on the street. I literally have lost count of the number of times I cannot stand my Tiger up to get it off the stand - currently have 3 scooter exhausts symbols slapped to my tank with a cross through them,  used 2 old U clamps on their wheels and my favourite....heavy duty tie wraps which are about £3 per 100 to tie up one of their levers - lessons being learnt hopefully  :lol :lol .
