Re: sunday november10th - Fazerider - 11-11-13

"More than £2,300 raised for the Royal British Legion."
Wow. :rolleyes
To give that some context, 15,000 bikes travelling 115 miles with an average fuel consumption of 60 mpg provides nearly £100,000 for the Exchequer in the form of fuel duty and VAT.
I guess stunts like this are far more to do with ego than fund-raising.

'ego' is a tad harsh mate, but i get the jist about the fuel tax for the govt. and £2,500 does'nt sound a lot
i never made it in the end,but i wish i could of been there.
