Torque Arm Mod? - Fizzy Pies - 03-11-13 What torque arms fit the fzs600? Any most importantly does anyone have off hand the distance between the holes? Re: Torque Arm Mod? - Motorbreath - 04-11-13 Thunderace's arm is exactly the same length. I've got one for sale. http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,8850.0.html FZS1000's are longer. Re: Torque Arm Mod? - Robbus - 04-11-13 Is this a cosmetic mod or is there any real benefit out of interest? Cheers, Rob Re: Torque Arm Mod? - 69oldskool - 04-11-13 xjr1300 one on mine, if it aint same length it's pretty darn close. fzs1000 fits just about, but caliper ends up somewhat peculiar angled~ like it's had a night on the lash. :lol @ robbus,it's just bike candy really, technically you're saving a little on unsprung weight...if you want an excuse like. ![]() Re: Torque Arm Mod? - Robbus - 04-11-13 (04-11-13, 09:48 PM)69oldskool link Wrote: @ robbus,it's just bike candy really, I gets ya, technical stuff, sorted ![]() Re: Torque Arm Mod? - 69oldskool - 04-11-13 (04-11-13, 10:14 PM)Fizzy Pies link Wrote: Is the FZS1000 Rear Caliper and Thunderace Torque Arm a straight fit mod on to the FZS600 then? You'll have to file the caliper bracket a bit~ you'll see where when you offer up the thou caliper to the bracket. Hose should be ok. Re: Torque Arm Mod? - bwizz - 19-11-13 Just bought one , of Motorbreath ta The Thunderace ones look better than the 600 ones , but they are not much lighter being made of some sort of alloyed steel . so don't get one to save weight. I am quite happy with the improved apearence of the swing arm I finished it of with stainless steel allen screws, I got some extra m8 ones for my thou, "which has been badly neglected this season Re: Torque Arm Mod? - Lumpy - 22-11-13 steel is an alloy. Re: Torque Arm Mod? - bwizz - 27-11-13 At a glance the Thunderace and Thou for that matter, torque arms looks like they are made from Aluminium , I thought as much before I got one, prettier than the 600 standard article though! Also some people refer to aluminium as alloy ! I hope this cleers the mud Re: Torque Arm Mod? - Torque - 27-11-13 Do you need my arm? ![]() Here I am. |
