Re: Touring on the 600 - Farjo - 01-10-13

Been in the arctic circle, to the Finnish/Russian border, through Moroccan desert and over the years ridden in 25 countries (or 28 if you split the UK out), so I think the 600 is fine for touring Smile

Re: Touring on the 600 - mtread - 01-10-13

I've done Czech Republic and back twice. This year's route via the Tyrol and Dolomites. No problems (apart from a sore arse)

Re: Touring on the 600 - ChristoT - 01-10-13

I may not hold the record for furthest gone on a Fazer 6, but possibly the record for most crap loaded on to one! North London to Brittany, via Portsmouth.

And that's why I decided to get the trailer...  :eek

Farjo didn't intend to go so far.  He just wasn't great at reading a map......

Re: Touring on the 600 - ajmes1 - 01-10-13

not abroad, but 1926 miles from john o' groats to lands end return trip, piled up with luggage for two and a pillion!

squashed but excellent fun. the 600 never missed a beat, comfy enough for the distance and sporty enough for a good blast on the roads!

Where you planning a trip to?

Re: Touring on the 600 - midden - 02-10-13

No plans  just getting a yearning desire for what could be to come  Smile
