Renthal bars no, not public) - bluefaze - 18-09-13 Looking to replace my bars but can't decide which ones to choose - low road sports, superbike low or one of any others. can anyone recomend a good choice. Just need a bit more room as my clutch has to be moved to right hand side. thanks folks ![]() Re: Renthal bars no, not public) - ogri48 - 18-09-13 If your anywhere near norwich I got three different sets you can try, along with a few risers.. ![]() Re: Renthal bars no, not public) - bluefaze - 18-09-13 thanks mate, unfortunately i'm in jockland Re: Renthal bars no, not public) - noggythenog - 18-09-13 Far as i can tell, the 758's have been highly commended by the 600 & Thou riders alike for a long time now, they're also called ultra lows.i got a set & i didnt cut them down or anything & ive only done 10 miles on them but they're bloody nice. You wont be able to fit standard bar end weights in them because the inner diameter is smaller but i fitted renthal plugs & i cant feel any buzzing through the bars. I need a longer run to test them out in anger but im waiting on my bikes return from the garage. So far so supreme 8) Re: Renthal bars no, not public) - kylron - 18-09-13 Where in Scotland are you,I have a few sets you could try,I'm in inverness-shire. Re: Renthal bars no, not public) - bluefaze - 18-09-13 cheers guys, i'm in Lanarkshire, bit far, but thanks for offer. What type of ultra low bars did you get? I've seen suberbike.road bike and sports bike. Ultra low appeal as might have more room. thanks Re: Renthal bars no, not public) - noggythenog - 18-09-13 Mine were ultra low road sports from m&p. Re: Renthal bars no, not public) - kylron - 18-09-13 Demon tweaks ultra low bars are 840mm wide and are around £19.00 Rental 758s are close to stock bars but slightly straighter and approx 40mm wider than stock. Re: Renthal bars no, not public) - bluefaze - 18-09-13 thanks folks, just ordered renthal ultra low road bars. let you know how i get on thanks for the help Re: Renthal bars no, not public) - BMCfaz - 18-09-13 758s are fairly close to original bars, but do not listen to those who say they need cutting down! Try them at full width first, I wish I had! Then again, if you need more room on the right for the clutch, you'll want the extra width. Re: Renthal bars no, not public) - stevierst - 18-09-13 Left my 758's standard width, and they're great being a little wider. A very worthwhile mod! Re: Renthal bars no, not public) - locksmith - 23-09-13 Wondering why you need the clutch on the right?
