Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - brooker81 - 11-09-13 Anyone using shorty pazzo levers thinking of a purchase. Any opions ? Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - boxer1 - 11-09-13 One of the four gen 1 fazers i go on runs with has them on, the guy loves them, they work great and look good, had them on my 06 R1 , go for it ![]() Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - blackcabbie - 11-09-13 more style over substance in my opinion... paid a lot of money for these a few years ago.... sold them on after a couple of months.... didnt get on with them at all.... made my wrists ache... gone back to standard levers..... much better imho Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - Falcon 269 - 11-09-13 I've had them on my Gen 1 for 40k miles and I like them. I have small hands and they fit comfortably on the shorty Pazzos. Never had an issue with the pull effort required. FWIW, I put a set of normal length Pazzo copies (China's finest via ebay) on my 99 R1 and they're fine, too. The levers are a bit chunkier but that's about the only comment I'd make on them. Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - brooker81 - 11-09-13 Thanks all i think im gonna give them a go my hands are small find the standard ones massive. Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - JoeRock - 11-09-13 Personally mate I'd rather go for ASV levers, infinitely adjustable, incredibly good quality and they have an unlimited crash lifetime guarantee on them too! Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - Lez72 - 11-09-13 I'm using Pazzo short levers on my Gen1 and find them much better than the standard levers. They look miles better too 8) Do it !!! Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - Fazer TIM - 11-09-13 I use pazzo on my gen 2 I have small hands n they work well for me Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - brooker81 - 11-09-13 Looked at the ASV's little pricey for me :eek Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - blackcabbie - 12-09-13 ok i'm in a minority of 1 and didnt like them :rollin thankfully they were a popular mod a few years ago so i had no trouble selling them on, but cos they are shorter, they must need more effort to operate, i'm specifically talking about the clutch... try pulling your clutch lever when your fingers are halfway along the lever, and then at the end of the lever..... there is an appreciable difference. on another topic i've owned my fazer from new for nearly 10 years..... mods have come and gone, but the only ones i have kept are ivans jet kit, multiguage, slip on can, r6 shock, handlebar mounted mirrors, scottoiler and ignition advancer...... hugger, lower seat, cut down rear fender, r6 forks, aftermarket indicators, rim tape, small number plate, shorty pazzo levers, bar risers, renthal handlebars, various different screen profiles, have all gone to be replaced by standard kit. another 2 things i did which cost nothing and make bike look better are ais removed and carb heater plumbing removed. Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - brooker81 - 25-09-13 Fitted mine yesterday very happy ![]() Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - Lez72 - 25-09-13 Sweet 8) Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - cambo - 25-09-13 I liked them on the SV but i like the longer ones, I always think the shorties look like BMX levers and not motorcycle ones. Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - nickodemon - 25-09-13 I have adjustable levers on mine, but i went with longer ones, as i find the shorties require more effort on the clutch lever. I have the clutch lever adjusted close to the bars and the brake lever i adjust as the pads wear out. ![]() Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - brooker81 - 26-09-13 i like them came to work on bike this morning, making adjustments whilst riding in i think i have found the sweet spot for them. Re: Pazzo Levers anyone using them ? - Hogi - 27-10-13 Great, I've had mine for a coupla years and find them spot on. Anyone who suffers from wrist ache should consider adjust the levers because they are probably too high, forcing your wrists to over-stretch. Rotate the lever mechanism round (downwards around the bars) so that your hands fall naturally down onto the levers. |
