An old newbie - Stradaman - 14-08-13
Just a brief Hello to you all, picked up my 02 reg FZS1000 last week, Couple of nice ride outs over week-end, good little zap about today, what a seriously under rated bike, Love it, could be visiting here for quite a while.

As much as the gen 1 was an expensive buy when new & didnt sell in the numbers that my 600 did, i sure wish that it had because it seems to make the perfect second hand old bike purchase.
I hope to get one some day & hope you have much fun on the bike & on the forum

OOPs my bike introduction was so wrong sorry, I had meant to suggest that after many years of sports bike riding that the Gen 1 1000 was not a normal type of bike on my radar but underrated was prob the wrong word maybe overlooked would have been far more
an appropriate word ,
