Brighton biker - spyder - 09-08-13 Hello to everyone. Knocked off my bike 4 weeks ago, still feeling some of the effects and reluctant to carry on riding my 1989 GSX. I'd never been totally happy with it anyway- it didn't go, and handle like it should have. Had Suzukis ever since ditching my Yam YR5 ( forerunner to RD350) in 1979 so going the Fazer route was a bit of a gamble. Picked it up today and it's brilliant! Great looks, great (for me) riding position (do these priorities give my age away?) , brilliant brakes and handling and LIGHTER than my old bus. I will never again do 130+ mph but it's nice to know that I could if I wanted...To be fair, any modern bike would probably impress me but this one, with its exposed engine and relatively low-tech mechanics seems just the business. I look forward to some fun riding! Re: Brighton biker - Chris - 10-08-13 Hi, Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear of your accident. The fazer is a great bike, hope you enjoy it!
