Just fitted a Daytime running light. - chunk166 - 28-07-13

Hi All,
I have just fitted a cheap Daytime running light to my bike as i'm getting fed up with then SMIDSY crap,i have taken a few pics to show what it's like! I didn't create a join in the wiring i stripped some of the cover off the DLR wire & simply used the connector for the side lights by putting the wires in the block & reconnecting them  Big Grin I hope the pics appear?

serious question..............do you think it will make a blind bit of difference (do you see what i did there!)
i drive a 11' high, 8' wide and 38' long vehicle and people don't see me coming.
everyone else is trying to kill you........ride like that and you won't go far wrong!

I think it might help but there's no harm in trying!  :thumbup .

I fitted one of them a few weeks back, looks exactly same as yours. I also fitted a strip of red leds to the rear on my topbox. I work on the assumption that every little bit helps!

did something similar on mine a while back.
the camera i used was rubbish and makes them look much "bluer" than they are.

Are they bolted to the radiator? I was going to do the same but didn't know if they would be seen there but they look alright  Big Grin

bolted to the radiator grille.
give a decent amount of light.
any extra is good in my opinion.
toying with the idea of some more now  Big Grin
