GEEKS!!! - jon - 25-07-13 A little help please! I am doing a home study course and have been given an assignment in Word format. It involves lots and lots of diagrams that i have to draw on it (circuit diagrams, symbols, plans etc) so I printed it out so I could work it all out with a pencil. Now i need to get this completed work on my computer to email it back for marking. FAAAAR too many pages to scan, and i cant open the file in Paint as it is the wrong format (?). Ideas? :rolleyes cheers - Jon Re: GEEKS!!! - Tiberius Onklevaart - 25-07-13 Photograph onto phone, connect to pc, transfer, convert to jpeg, email Re: GEEKS!!! - unfazed - 25-07-13 How many pages and what size are the pages. What format is the file? Are you using windows or Apple? Re: GEEKS!!! - DryRob - 25-07-13 Hand deliver it to your tutor? Re: GEEKS!!! - simonm - 25-07-13 Find a friend with a sheet feed scanner, scan to pdf and email. Re: GEEKS!!! - Doddsie - 25-07-13 Get pissed and just forget about it!!! Re: GEEKS!!! - red98 - 26-07-13 i like the way you think DRYROB :lol and i thought i was the only one ![]() Re: GEEKS!!! - simonm - 26-07-13 Whereabouts are you Jon? Re: GEEKS!!! - BBROWN1664 - 26-07-13 A lot of work places have Multi Function Devices that mean you can stack the document in the hopper and it will scan all pages and email it to yourself in PDF format. Know anyone locally that works in the office of a largish company? Re: GEEKS!!! - Chillum - 26-07-13 " i cant open the file in Paint as it is the wrong format " Which file is this? If you can get the picture on your computer screen at all, just use 'Prt Scrn' key and paste into MS Paint. Re: GEEKS!!! - Enceladus - 26-07-13 have you tried using the open office suite of programs ? i find that for anything with complex drawings etc. in that these work better than microshyte and are word compatible. |
