fox-eye model chainguard free if anyone wants/needs one - Has now been claimed. - PhilClark - 11-07-13 Having sold my bike :'( I've now discovered the original chain guard I removed after fitting a rear hugger. It's free to anyone that wants it, only cost would be postage if you don't want to/can't pick it up in person. It's a bit sticky on the underside as you'd expect from chain lube flinging but it's all intact, just needs a couple of bolts. It's going in the bin otherwise in a couple of days Phil Philip.j.clark@aol.co.uk Re: fox-eye model chainguard free if anyone wants/needs one - imax - 11-07-13 Yes please! ![]() Whereabouts are you so I know if it will be a postage/collect in person job Cheers Iain Re: fox-eye model chainguard free if anyone wants/needs one - PhilClark - 11-07-13 Reading, Berkshire. If it's a postage job then I can have a look and see what that's likely to cost as I've got to go to the post office tomorrow anyway. Phil Re: fox-eye model chainguard free if anyone wants/needs one - imax - 11-07-13 Yup, gonna be a postage job. Let me know how much and how you'd like it, paypal, etc Iain Re: fox-eye model chainguard free if anyone wants/needs one - PhilClark - 12-07-13 It'll be £5.65 first or £5.20 second class, unfortunately its a bit of an odd shape. If thats ok by you then just send me your address to the email to Philip.j.clark@aol.co.uk. Paypal would be ideal and is to the same email address Phil Re: fox-eye model chainguard free if anyone wants/needs one - imax - 12-07-13 Paypal payment sent. Postage address should be in the message. Thanks for this, Iain Re: fox-eye model chainguard free if anyone wants/needs one - PhilClark - 13-07-13 Sent in post this morning, should be with you soon. No problem, would rather someone got some use out of it instead of just chucking it away. Phil Re: fox-eye model chainguard free if anyone wants/needs one - Has now been claimed. - Farjo - 13-07-13 What years are your bikes i.e. 02 or 03? Reason I ask is that I believe that the two have slightly different shapes i.e. the distance between the two bolt holes is different. (Sorry for my lack of technical language :rolleyes) Re: fox-eye model chainguard free if anyone wants/needs one - Has now been claimed. - imax - 15-07-13 Arrived this morning, (fits my 03 perfectly, Farjo) Beers are on me if we're ever at a meet together. ![]() Re: fox-eye model chainguard free if anyone wants/needs one - Has now been claimed. - PhilClark - 15-07-13 Glad it got to you ok and fits. Already miss my fazer like hell, alas 6 months in North and Central America on my tenere will surely cheer me up :b Will be on the look out for another one when I get back though! |
