Anyone fancy a "good as new FZS600? - BBROWN1664 - 02-07-13 Had this emailed to me earlier by GarethG http://www.ebay.com/itm/141005937837 Re: Anyone fancy a "good as new FZS600? - Skippernick - 02-07-13 Bloody hell, first dibs on the downpipes :lol second the shock Re: Anyone fancy a "good as new FZS600? - Dead Eye - 02-07-13 Holy crap, that's awesome - I mean I've seen low mileage before, but that's amazing Re: Anyone fancy a "good as new FZS600? - lew600fazer - 02-07-13 Nice bike , but it is a 2003 =10 year old bike, at that price someone is taking the Michael £3250 no thanks. Lew Re: Anyone fancy a "good as new FZS600? - dazza - 03-07-13 Put it away for another 10 years and it will be worth 3 times that Re: Anyone fancy a "good as new FZS600? - andybesy - 03-07-13 Anyone else spot this on ebay few weeks back? :eek http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-RD250-BRAND-NEW-CLASSIC-/121078540319 Don't see those every day! Andy Re: Anyone fancy a "good as new FZS600? - kebab19 - 03-07-13 Is it bad value? True, the depreciation would kill it once u put some miles on it, but if you intended it to be a long-term 'keeper' how does it compare to the price (and performance) of something modern like an xj6 Diversion? Re: Anyone fancy a "good as new FZS600? - ChristoT - 03-07-13 Well, it's more than just low mileage... if the bike has been sitting for a while, the bike may well need quite a bit of work to get it running again. Plus, the engine still needs breaking in, yet is 10 years old.... Tidy, yes, impressive, yes, but too expensive! Re: Anyone fancy a "good as new FZS600? - BBROWN1664 - 03-07-13 Who moved the post here? Its not me selling it, it was for people to take the piss!!! I do like that RD250 Andy but £8K is out of my price range and especially so as you would never be able to register it now. Re: Anyone fancy a "good as new FZS600? - Kentish - 03-07-13 a 10 years old bike with 40 miles at over 3 grand? no thank you!! if your buying a bike to ride id rather one with 7-8000miles thats been used. bikes that have sat for that length of time will need work Re: Anyone fancy a "good as new FZS600? - lew600fazer - 03-07-13 (03-07-13, 12:18 AM)dazza link Wrote: Put it away for another 10 years and it will be worth 3 times thatDo not know how we would collect but fancy a small bet on your statement ![]() ![]() Re: Anyone fancy a "good as new FZS600? - dazza - 04-07-13 Alright then, I bet you £5 that statement's probably a load of old bollocks. :lol Re: Anyone fancy a "good as new FZS600? - nick crisp - 04-07-13 Beware old bikes that have sat for years! May need a complete engine strip to replace deteriorated oil seals &c.
