Where to buy: low profile oil filler cap? - b1k3rdude - 02-07-13

Devilsyam frame caps have reminded me that I need to try and source a low profile oil filler cap as I keep catching the stock one with my leg.

The type I have know I have seen are the ones with an allen bolt hexagonal hole socket in it..

Any idea's where I can get this from..?

Seen that one, not low profile, its the similar in height to the stock filler cap. And as you say a pain in the arse to unscrew.

I have a almost flat one that is Allen key in middle.
Don't know who made it as I got it from a fellow focer purple bear. Only downside is it marked FZ1
SO I assume It's USA made.

If its black then was me they were made for gen 2 but fitted 1 as well in the us both gens are fz1

Didn't meen to misslead, mine isn't for sale. I had same problem of fat calves hitting the OE one.
So wouldn't part with it

Its a stock image but as the one for the Fazer is m26, the one that would fit is the red one, which i would want in black or blue.

You could take the cap to a linisher leaving just enough for unscrewing it.

I swapped my filler cap for a screw in oil temperature gauge I got on E-Bay, had one on my XJR too.
