FOC-U Flyers - nick crisp - 30-06-13
Had me a little ol' idea (uh-oh!). Is there someone who could print up a load of little leaflets, perhaps with the FOC logo as per the home page, maybe something like:

I'll leave the actual wording to someone else, but after you left H's today Paul, a blue gen 1 pulled (slowly!) in. Didn't see where the owner went to chat, but could've leafleted(?) his bike.
Maybe packs of 20, charged at cost to produce or whatever for those that want them?

Excellent idea, it's been mentionned before, but things never really kick off. I think it was in the suggestions section

One thing that would be a good idea would be that the person leaving the leaflet write they're name on it so when the person who has found the leaflet will know who posted it and contact them via the forum?

Yeah, like that Mickey. Then it's that person's job to get them on the intro page (which I still haven't done - oops!), and give 'em a welcome message. Could even get a little competition going to see who can bring in the most newbies in, say, a year?

Had a bunch of cards made. Handed out loads at the Bmf shows and anytime I'm at a bike meet etc. Had a few join from it but rare anything is said about them.
I like to think it sends some this way even if they don't stay.
Handed out over 200 as I'm on my 2nd set of them now LOL.

Sorry, stuff outside foc-u got in the way, I'll hopefully have a couple of drafts done this week, see which folks prefer and get them available on here as a download and others printed up.
