neutral indicator feed ? - Enceladus - 01-06-13

just got a gear indicator for my bike, but it needs a feed to show when the bike is in neutral.
any idea where i can get at this easily please ?

i would tap it off from the sky blue wire from the instrument cluster.
there is a diode around the loom somewhere which connects to the sky blue wire but comes out the otherside on a light green wire. either side of the diode should be fine.

where did you get your gear indicator from? I think i might buy one too.

This is what I used on my FZS600 03reg and it is in the downlead section for a DIGI Gear indicator.

I would checked the wiring with the wiring diagrams for the specific year of the bike as they are esentialy the same for peace of mind.

Amazon is where I got the Digi. There are others on the market and one states its a plug and play but do not know what bikes thats for from ebay.
