Frankenfazer - ChristoT - 04-05-13 Just been staring at the Frankenfazer pic on the forum banner. I reckon it might be a doable build! Thoughts? Re: Frankenfazer - stevierst - 04-05-13 Anything's possible, just takes money. ![]() Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2 Re: Frankenfazer - Razgruff - 04-05-13 I would say time money and space if you are doing it yourself. I never manage to get a complete triangle, Currently have time and space but no money ![]() No fun in it, if you just pay somebody to do it for you. I generally sit and ponder. After several hours (really), I have decided that blue LEDs lighting up my engine is too tacky. Something a normal person could have determined in 5 seconds. Re: Frankenfazer - Razgruff - 04-05-13 Yea blue LEDS lighting engine is really tacky. But Red LEDS lighting the rear wheel now that's different ![]() Re: Frankenfazer - Skippernick - 04-05-13 (04-05-13, 01:29 PM)ChristoT link Wrote: [quote author=Razgruff link=topic=7614.msg73624#msg73624 date=1367670426] Agreed. At least you are on the light side and riding a bike and not a car. And eventually it will come off and under the new laws about 3 years before other riders in your situation so chin up. ![]() Re: Frankenfazer - sadlonelygit - 04-05-13 it's impossible................the chain's on the wrong side ![]() Re: Frankenfazer - Grahamm - 04-05-13 (04-05-13, 01:29 PM)ChristoT link Wrote: Agreed. Don't worry, it's all good banter! As for performance, just ask anyone who rode back from Brum with me, or does the LoFo rides as regards to how I handle my machine... ![]() Re: Frankenfazer - red98 - 04-05-13 (04-05-13, 03:37 PM)ChristoT link Wrote: [quote author=Skippernick link=topic=7614.msg73641#msg73641 date=1367671906] Don't worry, it's all good banter! Re: Frankenfazer - Chris - 06-05-13 It's the bike at the top of the forum pages. Or if you mean what does it consist of then I'd say: FZ1 rear swingarm, FZ6 rear subframe/seat/exhausts, FZS1000 engine/frame/downpipes, FZS600 foxeye fueltank/boxeye fairing/headlights and I presume FZ1 forks but not sure about the forks... Chris Re: Frankenfazer - Aegis Bearing Mel - 06-05-13 Spot on that man. :thumbup Think I could get away with claiming the forks are from the FZ8 so I covered all models? ![]() Re: Frankenfazer - Chris - 06-05-13 (06-05-13, 01:32 PM)Aegis Bearing Mel link Wrote: Spot on that man. Ah good call, although if they're from the FZ8 wouldn't they need to be gold... if we're being picky? Good thing noone here is that picky :lol Chris Re: Frankenfazer - Dead Eye - 06-05-13 Ah, right yeah, was more interested in what the build consisted of ![]() Re: Frankenfazer - Chris - 06-05-13 There was a garage in Shetland called BMR that made a kind of frankenfazer. Think they used some Aprillia parts but I'm not sure exactly. They wanted something like £10k for it which is far too much. They were going to make more to order for people but think they might have gone out of business. This is a picture of it at the Simmer Dim Rally when they'd just finished it. ![]() |
