Fenda Extenda - davec - 04-05-13

Anyone use them?are they any good for protecting the front of the engine and radiator etc?

Re: Fenda Extenda - darrsi - 04-05-13

Yeah, i put one on about 3 weeks ago, after i'd given the downpipes a good scrub, and the pipes are still looking okay now.

Had em fitted to most of my bikes, good bit if kit for keeping the muck off your bike.

Think they are good - dont stop all the crud but most - best bang for bucks of all the bolt on upgrades - cant  think of any reasons not to have one!

Re: Fenda Extenda - ChristoT - 04-05-13

I have one, as well as a bellypan. Wouldn't be without either, the downpipes do benefit hugely from their presence.

I got this one, and they even send you the correct drill bit for the plastic rivet holes.

Re: Fenda Extenda - markaboot - 05-05-13

yep i have one. after it being on so long i think the bike would look weird without it. the original fender just looks too high.

Re: Fenda Extenda - Fuzzy - 05-05-13

I wouldn't be without one now either. If you don't want to drill into the mudguard or don't fancy having screws near your front tyre, you can stick it on with silicone sealant. I removed my mudguard, stuck it on and left it overnight with a sack of pebbles on top to keep them pressed together and it's been solid ever since, 18 months or so.
