the old and the new - popeye72 - 19-04-13 traded in my fazer for a sprint, sorry to see the old girl go but the sprint is something else ![]() ![]() Re: the old and the new - Andy Clap - 19-04-13 I was looking for a Sprint when getting rid of the CBR, but couldn't find a nice one anywhere. So got another Fazer, and very happy I did ![]() My fantasy garage would have at least 3 Triumphs (and a repair van to follow me around). Re: the old and the new - stevierst - 19-04-13 I just love that triple. My Tiger 1050 flew once I tuned it up. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2 Re: the old and the new - Grahamm - 19-04-13 Is that the ST or the GT? I've looked at the Sprint 1050 ST in the past and took one for a test ride (which was very nice) and I may well get one if finances pick up a bit... Re: the old and the new - popeye72 - 19-04-13 its the st imho the gt lacks the looks 8) Re: the old and the new - Grahamm - 20-04-13 (19-04-13, 12:57 PM)popeye72 link Wrote: its the st imho the gt lacks the looks 8) Well that and it's a bit longer which might might it better for long distance riding, but not so great for riding the twisties ![]() How many miles does it have on it? One concern I've got is that wheras the Fazer only needs a major service every 24,000 miles, the ST needs one done every 12,000 and which is about £500 from what I've read, so it increases the running costs noticably. |
