Even better as Crutchlow ended fastest on day 3 - not bad for a satellite bike in 2012 spec! :eek

I am pleased as it does show it was the bike at Ducati !... he still has the ability and more importantly the will to win.

This years racing will surely be one of the most eagerly awaited for some time. Rossi has everything to work for, the sky is the limit ...let alone all the others vieing for the title.

Shame Stoner is not in it this year.

Re: One Two as Rossi Returns to the Top in Jerez - FlashBack - 04-04-13

Sure it's a shame he's not in it this year he's a great rider ... but he was a miserable C**t!!

Re: One Two as Rossi Returns to the Top in Jerez - fazed - 04-04-13

Yes Stoner was a great rider no question at all - but he managed to bite the hand that fed him by criticising just about everything and everyone except himself, not a winning personality, it takes more than just being able to ride a bike to be a good champion..........Still it would have been good to see Stoner Rossi Pedrosa Marquez Lorenzo all going for it with Crutchlow and Bradl with Bautista fighting it out for best satellite rider.  I'd be surprised if Crutchlow wasn't up there slugging it out with Bradl for the best satellite rider slot & possibly hunted by Suzuki if they return in 2014.........  Then Smith should have settled in and be taking on the role that Cal held in the tech3 team.... Watched rerun of last year's valencia race a few days ago - even as he was retiring, he was whinging in the post race interview. I'm not sorry to see him go, talented rider or not.

Close at Qatar on day 1, Lorenzo/Crutchlow/Rossi 0.071s apart. Go the Yams!

Marquez is already handing everyone their ass on a plate.    Rossi is over the hill..  Unfortunately.    Brad Smith's (he looks like the Banjo Boy in Deliverance) performance has been abysmal.  That ride needs to go to Scott Redding.
Crutchlow has been impressing.  But he got whopped by Dovi last year.  I wonder what'll happen to him at the end of the year.    Imo,  Redding aside,  CC has performed above and beyond.  If there was no such thing as "pay riders", like Rossi,  I wonder how the grid would shape up.

Redding is the best racer to come out of the UK since Sheene. Big Grin
