Abandoned motorbikes. - dazza - 12-03-13
On my way to work last night in near blizzard conditions I was amazed to see a biker on the A249. By the time I got to the A2 at Gravesend the roads had become imo impassable for a bike. My thoughts turned to the biker I had passed earlier and all the bikers coming out of London heading home this way. Sure enough, on the way home I counted 6 abandoned bikes on the hard shoulder. I don't know about anyone else but it would have serious implications on my sleep if I had to abandon my bike on the motorway.

I'd be more likely to stash it behind a hedge, walk it to a services and alarm/disclock or call a mate with a van/truck

Been there done that lol. Had to leave it at a petrol station once at A16 A17 junction.
