jsut asking you though5ts on pro-bolt kits ? are they any good alluminium engine casing is what i am looking for??

Re: pro-bolt - popeye72 - 18-02-13

Has anyone used these???? :'(

Re: pro-bolt - richfzs - 18-02-13

Not personally, the impression I get from other posts is they do good kit, but at a price - if you're willing to spend time searching, you can source the same stuff much cheaper. Benefit with these guys is, they've done all that for you, so you can spend more time riding Smile

I've not bought a whole kit from Pro Bolt but i have had one or two items from them; kind of what you'd expect - an expensive bolt that does the same as a cheaper item does but looks a bit better. Doesn't make you go faster...

cheers guys Smile

I had a kit on my GS500 they are really good kits but as others say they are expensive for what they are.

Colored engine screws look tacky. Bought mine with blue ally screws. Awful

Re: pro-bolt - born to be mild - 22-02-13

looks shit

Re: pro-bolt - noggythenog - 22-02-13

It's all down to personal taste, i agree that that pic looks shit but i actually do think that plain old silver aluminium looks cool, but my fazer seems to have this colour on the engine as standard so happy days, ive got a few bits n bobs from pro bolt now but i keep it all silver aluminium as my bike's silver & it's in fitting with much of the standard fittings.

I got sent the latest pro bolt catologue & there arent many bits they dont do but it's a thin line between tasteful & tacky, one bolt too much & it tips the scales either way.
