Braided Brake lines - fazerboy01 - 16-02-13 Ok, so my "Y" reg FZS already has HEL braided brake lines, F&R, Stainless, but they have been on there 8/9 or 10 years. I bought them at Ally Pally bike show, and had the clear plastic hose casing fitted, but recently Ive noticed a dip in my brakes performance and the plastic casing is splitting and looking rather shitty. So I'm thinking of changing them again. Can anyone recomend a brand that they havnt had faults with and have lasted? Where is the best place to buy? I'm after a 2 line kit up front and the rear, and again, S/S lines and fittings. I have found these on ebay, but has anyone used them and can you recomend them? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130843045491?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Thanks in advance for all replies. Re: Braided Brake lines - darrsi - 16-02-13 With all due respect, 8-10 years for any working part is value for money in my opinion. I had all sorts of problems with braking on my bike that ultimately turned out to be a faulty braided brake line. I went for Venhill lines in the end, they do the job and look the part, no complaints at all. Re: Braided Brake lines - Skippernick - 16-02-13 Can't remember who but some one has fitted those and seemed pleased. I was thinking about fitting them. But we could do with an update from the Guinea pig. ![]() Re: Braided Brake lines - darrsi - 16-02-13 I can't get away from the fact that Wezmoto sounds far too similar to the well established Wemoto. Call me old fashioned but it's like ordering from a McBurgerking! Re: Braided Brake lines - Dead Eye - 16-02-13 I had HEL lines before and was very pleased with them... but I only had them for about 3 months... apparently they won't survive a severe garage fire... Re: Braided Brake lines - Fuzzy - 20-02-13 I just ordered a set of Wezmoto lines for the rear. Did some research and I reckon they'll be good quality. Re: Braided Brake lines - andy m - 21-02-13 Me and mate put a full set of wezmoto on his 1200 Bandit about 6 months ago.good quality and fitted straight on, all lengths were spot on.bit early 6 months for a proper assesment, but upto now no probs.he is well happy with them. Re: Braided Brake lines - richfzs - 21-02-13 I've got HEL lines on mine, about 5 years now, perfectly happy with them...
