Engine Bars or Bobbins? - xlewisbdx - 10-02-13

Just wanted you opinion on which one you prefer/which one looks better.

I currently have crash bars but I really want a bellypan but if I got one I would want some crash bobbins.

Discuss Smile

I'm planning on skipping the bellypan as they're expensive and not easy to find in gold.  However according to http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,6169.msg56676.html#msg56676 the belly pan makes it look awesome.

If you want the 'the look' and have a wallet full of cash the bellypan and crash bobbins are the way to go.

belly pans cant be bought rather cheap second hand and a respray turns them into whatever colour you want.

I also got crash bobbins - relatively cheap on ebay (new) for about £30

I like the bars opposed to bobbins but my fazer came with a belly pan and I prefer that to either. Just try not to drop the bike.  :b

I bought a bike that had crashed with bars on, and every credit to them, not a mark on the engine or frame. I do believe that bars give you better protection, but bobbins are tidier. The choice is yours Smile

what ones you got? any pics? ive found 3 diff types so far. im edging towards the renntec ones as i dont like the way the other 2 are bolted to the bike.

do have 1 question. anyone here got the rennects fitted? i cant seem to picture how the rear bar is bolted to the frame.
