MAXTON Suspension Question - jools - 03-02-13

Hi all,
I have noticed in your threads about suspension that your  springs are red or yellow or silver as mine is purple!
after some snooping this morning i found that my dog mounts have maxton stamped on them!
I also found that the suspension strut has a maxton sticker on it.
photos below.

So this is a question for all you suspension specials
does this mean that my suspension has been re-valved updated by Maxton!
I have try'd to contact the previous owner by SAE letter, that was in november last year and he still has not replied
he has spent a large fortune on extras on my bike as i asked him in the letter i just need
to know what extras he has put on it.

Hard to say from the pictures, I didn't think Maxton re-valved the standard shock.

I would guess either a Maxton or Hyperpro (most likely) rear spring on the standard shock, Maxton shorter dog bones (to raise the rear end) with a Maxton sticker on the shock.

You could try contacting Maxton to see if they have a record of modifying the shock or forks.

I have a Hyperpro spring fitted and that looks like the same colour as mine. They do have hyperpro stamped on them in black about half way down if you can rotate the spring.
