Renthal 789's?? - stevierst - 29-01-13 Has anyone fitted Renthal 789's to the mk1 fazer 600? If so, were there any clearance issues. From memory the throttle cables fouled either the RHS fairing or RHS mirror on full lock. I moved the cables & tilted the bars downwards and it wasn't quite as bad. I suppose riser extenders raising the bars upwards & backwards might alleviate the problem. Bit disappointing as they looked well, and TBH I rode around for a while with them on (safety be damned) with no problems bar U-turns. Can you get risers that pull the bars up and back then? These bars feel nice for me but I would get rid of the bar pad personally.
