started the big clean - jools - 29-12-12 started cleaning and refurbishing the fazer 1000 see what ya think and yes i got bored today. before ![]() and after ![]() the refurbished alloy parts where polished and 2 thin coats of clear. jools Re: started the big clean - Mick-H - 29-12-12 Looking good. I take it you removed to polish or was it done on bike with a bit of masking up for spraying? I did take them all off and polished the heal plates with a polishing mop on a drill. and the had a scotch brite cylinder attachment on the drill to take off all of the old lacquer on the side plates to make them look nice and shinny, i then cleaned everything ready for the new lacquer. jools |
