Advice: Windproof Body Warmer/waistcoat - b1k3rdude - 05-12-12 Been hunting around for a while now trying to find one, anyone got one or can recommend one. It dosent need to be heated and I've already had a look at the insanely overpriced ones Northfarce do. thanks. Re: Advice: Windproof Body Warmer/waistcoat - Grahamm - 05-12-12 I've just bought one of these from J&S which is absolutely great. I used to wear a shirt and sweatshirt under my winter jacket, but, even with the jacket's inner lining in place, because it had zips under the arms (for ventilation if it gets too warm) it would still let in a draught. Now, instead of the sweatshirt I use the Anti-Freeze jacket and it keeps that cold air at bay even though the sleeves can be zipped off so you can use it as a gilet/ body warmer. It's well worth the money :thumbup Re: Advice: Windproof Body Warmer/waistcoat - b1k3rdude - 05-12-12 Now if they do one in a waistcoat, I'm set... [update] looks like the arms are removeable - sweeet! And the irony is my current waistcoat is a 15yr old item made by the same company - Frank Thomas... heh Re: Advice: Windproof Body Warmer/waistcoat - sadlonelygit - 07-12-12 i did this and it was cheap and effective into my hg liner Re: Advice: Windproof Body Warmer/waistcoat - b1k3rdude - 08-12-12 (07-12-12, 07:09 PM)sadlonelygit link Wrote: i did this and it was cheap and effective into my hg linerAh, might have a look into that... |
